Embracing the broken: growing and healing through life’s imperfections.
I believe counseling is a lot like kintsugi, where broken pottery is transformed with gold. Life’s struggles don’t make us less valuable; they offer an opportunity to rebuild with meaning and purpose. Healing through counseling turns past pain into strength and resilience, making our stories more beautiful for having been broken. We do not accomplish this by erasing the cracks, but by embracing them. Life’s difficulties can leave marks, but those marks don’t define you.
